как и во все времена
State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSIZO traces its history to 1959 when it was founded as the Directorate of Art Foundations and Design of Monuments under the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. From 1977 to 1994 it worked as the Republican Center for Art Exhibitions and Promotion of Fine Arts Rosizopropaganda. The Center hosted touring exhibitions and distributed works of art to Soviet museums. Over the years of its operation, about 500,000 pieces of art were transferred from its funds to museums.
Today ROSIZO is a multidisciplinary organization engaged in the development and implementation of numerous exhibition projects. Its collection includes over 45,000 items. ROSIZO carries out all museum functions — from storage, study, restoration and public presentation to its artifacts to cultural and educational programs as well as creation of exhibition concepts, which are then implemented in partnership with the world’s leading museums and cultural institutions. One of the center’s primary goals is to popularize national cultural heritage and Russian contemporary art.
Since 2021, Olga Galaktionova has been the General Director of ROSIZO. Previously, she carried out big cultural projects and organized various events, from exhibitions to theater festivals.
